River Ranch Inn

We reserved 3 units for few or our of town guests for my daughters first birthday at the River Ranch Inn. Me and my husband were looking for a beautiful outdoor spot to host my daughters birthday and we came across River Ranch . We had the most wonderful experience in terms of service, communication and hospitality from Amber and her husband. There is a lot of stress involved in organizing a party and I am so glad we chose place because there was no stress or unexpected surprises that we had to deal with. Everything was explained clearly and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms are basically units and all the units have two bedrooms, bath and a kitchenette. Our guests loved this convenience and the rooms.They said the most wonderful things about their stay. Each unit is uniquely designed and truly beautiful. But the best thing about the property is certainly the outdoor space. It has a access to a small river and outdoor hammocks that the guests can enjoy. If you have little ones it is a great little place for them to explore and have fun. I do not usually have the time to leave reviews but I was compelled to leave a review for Amber and her husband because they have done such an incredible job with the place and are such a delight to deal with!! I would highly recommend this place

I would give 100 stars if I could! River Ranch Inn is a little slice of heaven. The level of care and attention to detail won us over immediately. The rooms were cozy and eclectically decorated, fitting the “Keep Austin Weird” motto perfectly. The extensive grounds were stunning and well-maintained. The beautiful pool, river access, kayaks, and paddle boards provided our family with some much needed r&r. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Leaving 5 stars, although there were a few things/details that just weren’t there that I would prefer to be! Amber was wonderful to my little family… truly! I felt so accommodated and like we were an important guest! Very communicative. The building is older and the rooms are quite loud, you can hear many footsteps of other guests! There were several little bugs in the corners of the rooms. There is a dumb-waiter that didn’t function, however I think we could’ve asked Amber how to access this? We just assumed it was out of service. It is next to a busy and louder street - so be prepared for those sounds! We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and the property is very well kept and beautiful! There are loads of activities to do, as well

What not to say! We had our reception here and absolutely loved it. The hosts were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. It’s a perfect spot to have your family and friends. Private spot on the river. There is plenty to do, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and more. They just added a beautiful pool. The lighting at night is perfect it looks like a park. All my family and friends stayed at the Inn and said it was spotless, great space and enjoyed their stay. They loved the Keep Austin Weird vibe. Acres of well kept landscaping and beautiful trees.m and views. We highly recommend it!

If you're looking for a spot to host your special event....THIS IS IT! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The property is absolutely stunning, from the mature trees that provide a serene canopy to the peaceful San Gabriel River that borders the property, every corner is just picture perfect. I promise it makes for the most beautiful backdrop for photos! Honestly, what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff here are genuinely kind hearted, welcoming and super helpful people. You can tell they care deeply about their guests and the space they have created. River Ranch Inn has it all! Natural hill country beauty, a relaxing atmosphere, and people who make you feel like family. Come check this place out!

Thank you for helping make my husbands 75th birthday amazing. We had two Rooms - 2 and 6. Our grandkids chose 6 for us and it was sooooooo much fun. Loved the pool/hot tub. The walkway all round is beautiful. The fact that you have kayaks and boards for guest to use on the river is amazing. Access to the River for fishing was fantastic. . What an incredible Inn you have. Definitely recommend anyone wanting to escape and relax to come here. Also PERFECT PLACE for an intimate wedding.

I was surprised when I looked this place up and seen how much it has changed. I attended my sister's wedding here in 2018 it started out great but just know if you're attending a event and its at the venue near the river and it starts to rain or has been raining up river you need to leave for high ground or at least be ready to seek high ground. Within minutes a flash flood came and out of the grace of God everyone that day survived but it was quick and powerful and every car and camper that was parked near the river was totaled. When the fire department came they actually said that the place was not even supposed to be allowing people to stay there but it was a very unique and tranquil place for the time we did get to enjoy it . The pool wasn't there but would've been awesome cause it was hot.

What a wonderful place for a weekend getaway! The grounds are beautiful and were peaceful to walk around. The river is easy to access and the provided paddle boards and kayaks are in great condition. The pool was relaxing and clean and the jacuzzi was the perfect temp. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with! We would highly recommend as a fun staycation!
